Dualtron Spider Max 60V chargers and Spider range charging ports

Find chargers for Dualtron Spider Max in three versions: standard 2A, fast 5A and 10A ultra fast adjustable. Each charger offers two different socket options, LP16-3 and GX16-3, to select the connector corresponding to your scooter. The replacement load ports for Spider, Spider 2 and Spider Max are presented after the chargers.

A voltage adapted to the battery 60V of the Spider Max

The Dualtron Spider Max uses a lithium-ion battery 60V (16S), including a 24Ah or 30Ah battery depending on the version. The chargers deliver a final voltage of 67,2V. The battery capacity determines the charging time; it does not change the required output voltage.

Choose between 2A, 5A and 10A adjustable

  • Standard 2A charger : fixed current for regular charging when you have several hours. About 12 h for 24Ah or 15 h for 30Ah.
  • 5A fast charger : higher fixed current to shorten the charging. About 4 h 45 for 24Ah or 6 h for 30Ah.
  • Ultra-fast charger adjustable from 3A to 10A : adjustment wheel and display OLED showing voltage, current and load capacity. At 10A, about 2 h 15 for 24Ah or 3 h for 30Ah.

On the adjustable model, you can reduce the current when you have more time: at 3A, count about 8 h for 24Ah or 10 h for 30Ah. These time periods are estimates calculated from capacity divided by current and rounded to the lower quarter hour.

Connectors LP16-3 and GX16-3

Both sockets have three pins, but their shapes and attachment system differ. Choose your variant from the installed port and the photos of the product sheet. A LP16-3 connector does not mechanically replace a GX16-3.

Active breakdown and use

Each charger Source’IT of this selection includes a active ventilation. The fan removes heat and limits its accumulation in the housing, in addition to its natural dissipation. The 2A has a plastic housing; the 5A and 10A adjustable versions use an aluminium housing. Allow the battery to cool after a sustained journey and keep the charger vents clear.

The collection also contains the LP16 loading sockets for Dualtron Spider, Spider 2 and Spider Max. Select the typeholder to replace a worn or damaged load port.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the battery indicated 60V and the charger 67,2V?

60V is the nominal voltage of the 16S lithium-ion battery. The end of charging voltage is 67,2V.

What difference between the three chargers?

The 2A and 5A provide a fixed current. The 10A allows you to choose the current between 3A and 10A to adjust the charging speed to the time available.

How to select the right socket?

Compare your port to LP16-3 and GX16-3 photos on the card and select the corresponding variant before ordering.

Do the chargers have a fan?

Yes. Active ventilation works to evacuate heat during charging and helps to preserve components over the long term.
