48V is the nominal voltage of a 13S lithium-ion battery. The end-of-charge voltage of a 13S pack is 54.6V: this is normal and necessary for a 100% charge.

➡️ Is the 5A fast charger safe?

Yes ✅. A 48V 20Ah battery handles a 5A current very well, especially with a ventilated and properly calibrated charger.

➡️ Should I choose 2A or 5A?

• 2A: Slower charge, ideal for overnight recharging.
