TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO adjustable ultra-fast charger – 72V (84V) – 3A to 20A with OLED screen

The 72V – 3A to 20A adjustable ultra-fast charger for the Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO is specially designed for the Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO equipped with its 72V / 74V 75Ah battery. It allows for stable, secure, and extremely fast charging while offering the ability to precisely adapt the charging current to your needs.

When you charge overnight and are not in a hurry, you can charge slowly at 3A or 5A. For faster charging, you can select 10A or 15A, and when you want to minimize your bike's downtime, you can go up to 20A.

This wide adjustment range of 3A to 20A allows you to use a single charger for both daily low-intensity charging and ultra-fast charging. You can thus adapt the power according to the time you have available.

Thanks to its aluminum casing with active cooling and high-power electronics, this charger delivers a perfectly regulated 84V voltage while ensuring excellent thermal management, even during full-power operation.

Its integrated OLED screen displays the charged capacity, battery voltage, and selected current in real-time. Adjustment is carried out simply by using a rotary dial.

Charging times may vary depending on the initial discharge level, temperature, battery condition, and the final charging and BMS balancing phase.

⚡ Ultra-fast charging up to 20A

At its maximum power of 20A, this charger significantly reduces the charging time of the Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO's large 75Ah battery.

A 20A charge represents approximately 0.27C for a 75Ah battery. The theoretical time corresponding to the capacity/current ratio is only 3h45. In practice, count on about 3h45 to 4h15, taking into account the final charging phase.

The main advantage remains its fully adjustable power: you do not have to use 20A every time you charge. You can select a lower intensity when you have more time available.

⚡ 84V charging and battery display

For Arctic Leopard models equipped with a 74V battery, Source’it chargers limit the charge to 84V, i.e., 4.2V per cell: the standard full-charge voltage of a 20S lithium-ion battery using 4.2V cells. The original charger goes up to 86V, i.e., 4.3V per cell. Our choice of a lower voltage is aimed at preserving battery longevity. The motorcycle may then display approximately 90%, without this necessarily corresponding to 10% less range: the relationship between voltage and stored energy is not linear, and the display depends on the gauge calibration. Charging at 84V is therefore a compromise between range and battery preservation. If you wish to charge at 86V, a charger can be adapted upon request, subject to compatibility with your battery.

Charger compatibility must be verified with the actual battery configuration, cell chemistry, and BMS parameters.

💡 Why choose this Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO ultra-fast charger?

✔️ Adjustable current from 3A to 20A: precisely adapt the charging speed.
✔️ Ultra-fast charging: approximately 3h45 to 4h15 at full power.
✔️ Daily charging: possibility of using 3A or 5A when you are not in a hurry.
✔️ Battery preservation: no need to systematically use maximum power.

🖥️ OLED screen and 3A to 20A adjustment

The charger features an OLED screen for tracking key information during charging. Its rotary dial allows for easy current adjustment between 3A and 20A.

You can thus prioritize slow charging at 3A or 5A, use 10A for fast charging, 15A for very fast charging, or select up to 20A when you want to get your bike back as quickly as possible.

🔌 Original Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO connector

The charger comes directly equipped with the original Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO connector.

No adapters, connector replacements, or modifications to the bike's wiring harness are necessary. The charger is delivered ready to plug in.

🌡️ Active cooling and high-dissipation aluminum casing

With a maximum power reaching approximately 1,680W at 20A, effective thermal management is essential.

The charger combines an aluminum heat sink casing with active cooling to effectively dissipate the heat generated by the power electronics during high-intensity charging sessions.

🔒 Safety and compatibility

Is this 20A charger suitable for a 75Ah battery?
At its maximum power, a 20A charge represents approximately 0.27C for a 75Ah battery. Thanks to the current adjustment, you can also select a lower intensity when ultra-fast charging is not required.

The charger incorporates several electronic protections:

  • Overvoltage protection
  • Overcurrent protection
  • Overcharge protection
  • Short-circuit protection
  • Reverse polarity protection
  • Overheating protection

Tip: after intensive use of your Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO, allow the battery to return to a normal temperature before performing a high-intensity charge, particularly at 20A.
