A charger adapted to the Ausom L2 and L2 Max
The Ausom L2 family includes versions with differing range and battery capacity. The configurations presented here are the L2 at 48V 15.6 Ah and the L2 Max at 48V 20.8 Ah, both charged to a final voltage of 54.6V.
- Ausom L2: 48V 15.6 Ah (748.8 Wh) lithium-ion battery.
- Ausom L2 Max: 48V 20.8 Ah (998.4 Wh) lithium-ion battery.
- For a Dual Motor version, the specifications apply to the corresponding original 48V configuration equipped with the red connector shown in the photos.
The 48V nominal voltage refers to the battery; the 54.6V voltage corresponds to its maximum charging voltage. The choice of charger also depends on the connector and its wiring. The specifications target the listed original configurations with the photographed connector.
The advantages of this 2A version
- Output regulated at 54.6V for the corresponding 48V configuration.
- Original red 3-pin Ausom connector visible in the photos.

Comparing Ausom L2 and L2 Max chargers
The versions in this family deliver the same final voltage of 54.6V. The charging current, casing, and estimated duration distinguish the products. The 2A is suitable for standard charging, the 4A for fast charging, and the 5A for shorter charging.
Ausom L2 – 15.6 Ah
- 2A standard: ≈ 7 h 45 min
- 4A fast: ≈ 3 h 45 min
- 5A ultra-fast: ≈ 3 h
Ausom L2 Max – 20.8 Ah
- 2A standard: ≈ 10 h 15 min
- 4A fast: ≈ 5 h
- 5A ultra-fast: ≈ 4 h
These times are estimates for 0 to 100% charging with a single charger, calculated by dividing the battery capacity in Ah by the charging current in A, then rounding down to the nearest quarter hour. The starting level, temperature, and battery condition will cause the real time to vary.
- Ausom L2 and L2 Max standard charger 48V – 54.6V 2A
- Ausom L2 and L2 Max fast charger 48V – 54.6V 4A
- Ausom L2 and L2 Max ultra-fast charger 48V – 54.6V 5A

Safety and reliability
The 54.6V regulation and electronic protections support the charging of the corresponding 48V battery. Active cooling cools the charger; it does not directly cool the battery. Keep the openings clear and let a hot battery cool down after use.
FAQ – Ausom L2 / L2 Max 2A charger
Is this charger suitable for my scooter?
It corresponds to the models and batteries listed in the compatibility section, with the photographed original red 3-pin Ausom connector. Check the exact model, voltage, and plug of your version before choosing.
How long does the recharge take?
Ausom L2 15.6 Ah: approximately 7 h 45 min with this 2A charger. Ausom L2 Max 20.8 Ah: approximately 10 h 15 min with this 2A charger. A partially charged battery takes less time.
Does the charger have a fan?
Yes. This 2A version has Active Cooling and a plastic casing. The fan may be audible during charging.
Can I keep it as a second charger?
Yes, to have a charger at another charging location. The simultaneous use of two chargers depends on the ports and the total current accepted by the scooter version; it cannot be assumed simply by the presence of two sockets.
What is the difference from the other power ratings?
The 2A is the standard version of this family. The list and links above allow you to compare the other versions for the exact capacity of your battery.
