TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Adjustable Charger for Pink Pop 50cc / Pink Pop+ 125cc Electric Scooter – 72V 3A to 10A with OLED Screen
The 72V – 3A to 10A adjustable charger for Pink Pop electric scooters is designed for the Pink Pop 50cc 72V 29Ah and Pink Pop+ 125cc 72V 60Ah models, which are equipped with removable 72V lithium-NMC batteries. It provides adjustable, stable, and secure charging, ideal for adapting the charge to your specific needs.
When charging overnight and you are not in a hurry, you can charge slowly at 3A or 5A, and when you need a faster charge, you can increase it up to 10A. Being able to adapt the charging current also helps to preserve the long-term battery life.
Thanks to its aluminum casing with active cooling, built-in OLED screen, and high-quality electronics, this charger delivers a regulated voltage of 84V while minimizing heat buildup, thereby improving its reliability and lifespan.
Its OLED screen displays the charged capacity, battery voltage, and selected current in real time. Adjusting the charging current is simple using the rotary dial.
🛵 Compatible Pink Scooters
- Pink Pop 50cc – 1 x 72V 29Ah lithium-NMC battery (≈ 2.1 kWh)
- Pink Pop+ 125cc – 1 x 72V 60Ah lithium-NMC battery (≈ 4.3 kWh)
All Pink Pop models operate on a 72V (20S) architecture with a final charging voltage of 84V.

📌 Original 83V vs. 84V: What we observe on Pink Pop and why it matters
For the Pink Pop 50cc / Pink Pop+ 125cc, the original charger is, in many cases, regulated around 82.8–83 V, instead of the 84 V nominal voltage required by a 72 V (20S) battery.
This choice may be intentional, but in practice:
- At 83 V, the battery never reaches a full charge.
- The BMS does not reach the true end-of-charge voltage, which limits its balancing function.
- An 84 V charge allows you to utilize the battery's actual capacity.
Consequence #1: Reduced usable capacity
With charging capped at 83 V, the battery permanently operates below its nominal potential. This typically represents 5 to 8% of unutilized capacity.
Consequence #2: Incomplete cell balancing
The BMS balances the cells at the end of the charge, when they approach their maximum voltage. If the charge stops too early, the balancing remains partial and a progressive imbalance may appear over time.
A Source’IT charger regulated at a true 84 V allows you to reach the nominal end-of-charge voltage, lets the BMS work within its normal balancing range, and utilizes 100% of the usable capacity, without overcharging the battery.
Usage tip: Charge to 100% just before riding. For prolonged storage, it is better to keep the battery between 30% and 60%.
⏱️ Charging Times
-
Pink Pop 50cc – 72V 29Ah

🔒 Safety and compatibility
Is this charger safe for Pink Pop batteries?
Yes. A 10A current remains compatible with the 72V lithium-NMC batteries of the Pink Pop 50cc and Pink Pop+ 125cc scooters. The 84V regulation, active ventilation, and integrated protections ensure reliable, stable, and high-performance charging. The 3A or 5A settings also allow for gentler everyday charging.
FAQ – Adjustable 72V Charger for Pink Pop 50cc / Pink Pop+ 125cc Electric Scooter
Is the 72V adjustable charger compatible with the Pink Pop 50cc and Pink Pop+ 125cc?
Yes. This charger is compatible with the Pink Pop 50cc 72V 29Ah and Pink Pop+ 125cc 72V 60Ah, equipped with 20S architecture 72V lithium-NMC batteries. It delivers a regulated voltage of 84V.
What is the 3A to 10A adjustment for?
The adjustment allows you to adapt the charging speed: 3A or 5A for a gentler charge, 10A for a faster recharge when you have less time.
What is the charging time with this adjustable Pink Pop charger?
For the Pink Pop 50cc 72V 29Ah: approx. 10h at 3A, 6h at 5A, and 3h to 3h30 at 10A. For the Pink Pop+ 125cc 72V 60Ah: approx. 20h at 3A, 12h at 5A, and 6h to 7h at 10A.
Why do some Pink Pop chargers show 83V instead of 84V?
Some original chargers are limited to around 82.8–83V. This can prevent the battery from reaching its full capacity and limit the BMS balancing. A charger regulated at 84V allows you to utilize the normal end-of-charge voltage of a 72V lithium battery.
Is 10A dangerous for a Pink Pop battery?
No. The 10A current is well-suited for the 72V lithium-NMC batteries in Pink Pop 50cc and Pink Pop+ 125cc scooters. The adjustment also lets you use 3A or 5A for a gentler charge.
