❓ FAQ – Dualtron Thunder 2 & Thunder 3 Chargers

👉 What charging voltage for a Dualtron Thunder 2 or 3?

You need an 84V charger, designed for 72V (20S Li-ion) battery.

👉 What is the difference between 2A, 5A and 10A?

2A: slow charge, ideal for preserving the battery.
5A: fast charging, 2 to 3 times faster.
10A: ultra fast, up to 5 times faster than a 2A charger.

👉 Are the chargers ventilated?

Yes ✅, all our chargers are ventilated with active cooling to prevent overheating.

👉 Is the fast charger (5A or 10A) dangerous?

No ✅, even fast chargers are not dangerous . Everything is designed to withstand these currents: cable sections , connectors , BMS and battery cells are sized for 10A charging. You can therefore use a 5A or 10A charger safely.

👉 Which connector is used?

The Dualtron Thunder 2 and 3 mainly use a 3-pin LP16 . If in doubt, send us a picture of your charging socket.
