Chargers for Pink Pop 50cc / Pink Pop+ 125cc electric scooters – 72V (5A and 10A)
This collection includes chargers compatible with the Pink Pop range of electric scooters , including the Pink Pop 50cc (72V 29Ah) and Pink Pop+ 125cc (72V 60Ah) models. Two charger versions are available: a 72V 5A charger (for gentler charging) and a 72V 10A charger (for faster charging).
Both chargers are specifically designed for the removable 72V lithium-NMC batteries used on Pink scooters. They deliver a regulated charging voltage of 84V , in accordance with the 72V (20S) architecture of these batteries.
🛵 Compatible Pink Scooters
-
Pink Pop 50cc – 1 lithium-NMC battery 72V 29Ah (≈ 2.1 kWh)
-
Pink Pop+ 125cc – 1 lithium-NMC 72V 60Ah battery (≈ 4.3 kWh)
All Pink Pop models operate on a 72V (20S) architecture with a final charging voltage of 84V .
🔧 Which charger should you choose for your Pink Pop scooter?
72V – 5A Charger
The 72V 5A charger is a more compact solution, ideal as a second charger , for gentler charging, or when charging time is not the main criterion.
-
Pink Pop 50cc (72V 29Ah)
→ approximately 4 hours at 80%
→ approximately 6 to 7 hours at 100%
-
Pink Pop+ 125cc (72V 60Ah)
→ approximately 8 hours at 80%
→ approximately 12 hours at 100%
Tip: a 5A charger is useful to limit heat and preserve user comfort (noise/ventilation) during long sessions.
72V – 10A Charger
The 72V 10A charger corresponds to the most common power output on original Pink chargers. It is recommended for intensive use or when charging time is an important factor.
-
Pink Pop 50cc (72V 29Ah)
→ approximately 2 hours at 80%
→ approximately 3 hours 30 minutes at 100%
-
Pink Pop+ 125cc (72V 60Ah)
→ approximately 4 hours 30 minutes at 80%
→ approximately 6 hours 30 minutes at 100%
📌 Original 83V vs. 84V: Why regulation is important
On the Pink Pop 50cc / Pink Pop+ 125cc , it is frequently observed that some original chargers are regulated around 82.8 to 83 V , instead of the nominal voltage of 84 V expected for a 72V (20S) battery.
At this reduced tension:
- the battery never reaches a full charge;
- the BMS does not fully enter the balancing phase ;
- a portion of the usable capacity remains unusable (often 5 to 8% ).
With proper regulation at a true 84V , the charger allows:
- to reach the nominal end-of-charge voltage;
- the BMS to properly balance the cells at the end of charging;
- to utilize 100% of the usable capacity without additional constraints.
Usage tip: Charge to 100% just before riding. For long-term storage, leave the battery between 30% and 60%.
🔒 Security & compatibility
The chargers offered in this collection are CE compliant and meet European electrical safety standards. Compatibility depends on the chosen current (5A or 10A) and the original Pink connector .
They incorporate protections against overload , short circuit , reverse polarity and overheating , and have an aluminum casing that promotes heat dissipation (with active ventilation depending on the version).
