The original chargers for DAYI E-ODIN motorcycles frequently exhibit defects: a flashing green LED , a tripped circuit breaker , or an inability to start charging. These malfunctions are generally due to an internal short circuit or faulty electronic regulation .   • Standard 72V/84V – 5A charger → perfect as a backup charger or economical replacement . Full charge in 10 to 24 hours depending on the battery.
  • 72V/84V – 10A Fast Charger → Equivalent to the original charger with significantly higher component quality.
  • Ultra-fast charger 72V/84V – 20A → up to twice as fast, recommended for intensive use of your Dayi E-odin electric motorcycle (≈ 3h to 6h).
  • Type 2 chargers → for DAYI E-ODIN versions equipped with a Type 2 socket (public or wall terminal).

🔌 Built-in charger faulty (between the Type 2 plug and the battery)

On some DAYI E-ODIN models, the charger is integrated directly into the motorcycle, charging via a Type 2 connector. The external module is not actually the charger. ➡️ Why is my original charger no longer working?

A flashing green LED or a tripped circuit breaker indicates an internal short circuit . Source'IT chargers use higher-quality components and an efficient cooling system to prevent these recurring failures found in lower-end chargers.

➡️ Is a 5A charger sufficient?

Yes ✅! The 5A model is ideal as an economical replacement or backup charger . It offers a stable and perfectly safe charge, while remaining more affordable than fast chargers. However, on Dayi E-odin electric motorcycle models with large capacities, charging time can be very long. This charger is recommended for batteries of 100Ah or less.

➡️ Is a 20A charger dangerous for the battery?

No! DAYI E-ODIN batteries (72 V / 100–120 Ah) easily handle a 20 A charging current. Integrated protections and enhanced ventilation ensure fast charging without thermal stress.

➡️ Which voltage should I choose?

All E-ODIN devices charge at 84V . Simply ensure your motorcycle operates correctly at 72V (20S) before ordering. If you have any questions, please contact us by phone.

➡️ Can the internal Type 2 charger be replaced?

Yes, but only with a quote based on the motorcycle model. This type of replacement requires a phone call to verify various components.
