❓ FAQ – Sur-Ron Light Bee Charging & Compatibility
➡️ Can you use a fast charger on an original Sur-Ron?
Yes, as long as it stays at 60V (67.2V max) . A 5A, 10A or 15A charger (limited by the original BMS) allows for faster charging without damaging the battery. Lithium-ion cells can safely withstand up to 0.5C of continuous charging.
➡️ What is the difference between 60V, 72V, 80V and 100.8V?
• 60V (16S) → original Sur-Ron Light Bee version.
• 72V (20S) → light preparation with gain in torque and speed.
• 80V – 92V (22S) → high performance version for reinforced configurations.
• 100.8V (24S) → extreme setup for full custom preparations. Each voltage requires a calibrated charger: never interchange .
➡️ Does a fast charger damage the battery?
No. Modern lithium-ion batteries can accept from 0.5C to 2C depending on the quality of the cells and BMS. Our chargers are ventilated, stable and protected , ensuring fast charging without overheating or stress on the battery.

Yes ✅! The GTK is perfect for testing, maintaining, or charging modified Sur-Ron batteries. It can also be used as a laboratory power supply for your tests or calibrations.
