➡️ Is this 5A charger compatible with the Kukirin G2?

Yes. It is rated at 54.6V for 48V (13S) batteries and uses a reinforced 5.5 x 2.1mm jack , identical to the port on the G2.

➡️ Is 5A safe for the battery?

Yes. The Kukirin G2 battery can easily handle a 5A charge current. This means there's no risk of damaging the battery or the scooter. The actual limit for continuous charging before the cells heat up and risk rapid capacity loss is around 8A.

➡️ My LED goes from red to green then turns red again at the end of charging, is this normal?

Yes. At the end of charging, the charger regulates and can alternate to balance the cells . Solid green = charging complete.

➡️ What is the difference between 5.5 × 2.1 and 5.5 × 2.5 mm jack?

The inner diameter differs (2.1 vs 2.5 mm). The G2 uses 5.5 × 2.1 mm . The wrong diameter can cause loose contacts/heating.

➡️ Can I use this charger on other brands?

Yes, if the scooter is 48V Li-ion (13S) and has a 5.5 x 2.1 mm jack . Always check the plug and voltage before connecting.
