When charging overnight and not in a hurry, you can charge slowly at 3A or 5A, and when you need to charge faster, you can go up to 10A. The ability to adapt the charging intensity also helps to preserve battery life in the long term.

Thanks to its aluminum casing with active ventilation, its integrated OLED screen, and quality electronics, this charger delivers a regulated voltage of 84V while limiting overheating, thus improving its reliability and lifespan.

Its OLED screen displays in real-time the charged capacity, battery voltage, and selected current. The charging current is adjusted simply via a rotary knob.

📌 Original 83V vs. 84V: what we observe on Pink Style and why it matters

On Pink Style / Pink Style+, the original charger is, in many cases, regulated around 82.8–83V, instead of the nominal voltage of 84V required by a 72V (20S) battery.

This choice may be intentional, but in practice:

• At 83V, the battery never reaches its full charge.
• The BMS does not reach the true end-of-charge voltage, which limits its balancing action.
• Charging at 84V allows the real capacity of the battery to be utilized.

Consequence #1: reduced usable capacity
With a charge capped at 83V, the battery constantly operates below its nominal potential. This typically represents 5 to 8% of unutilized capacity.

Consequence #2: incomplete cell balancing
The BMS balances the cells at the end of the charge, when they approach their maximum voltage. If charging stops too early, balancing remains partial, and a progressive imbalance may appear over time.

A Source'IT charger regulated at a true 84V allows the nominal end-of-charge voltage to be reached, the BMS to work within its normal balancing range, and 100% of the usable capacity to be exploited, without overcharging the battery.

Usage tip: charge to 100% just before riding. For prolonged storage, keep the battery between 30% and 60% instead.
