Adjustable Ultra-Fast Charger Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO – 72V (84V) – 3A to 20A with OLED Screen

The adjustable 72V – 3A to 20A ultra-fast charger for Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO is specially designed for the Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO equipped with its 72V / 74V 75Ah battery. It allows for a stable, secure, and extremely fast recharge while offering the possibility to precisely adapt the charging current to your needs.

When charging overnight and not in a hurry, you can calmly recharge at 3A or 5A. For faster charging, you can select 10A or 15A, and when you want to minimize your motorcycle's downtime, you can go up to 20A.

This wide adjustment range from 3A to 20A allows you to use a single charger for both daily low-intensity recharges and ultra-fast recharges. You can thus adapt the power according to the time available.

Thanks to its aluminum casing with active ventilation and its high-power electronics, this charger delivers a perfectly regulated voltage of 84V while ensuring excellent thermal management, even during full power operation.

Its integrated OLED screen displays the charged capacity, battery voltage, and selected current in real-time. Adjustment is done simply with a rotary knob.

⚡ Ultra-Fast Charging up to 20A

At its maximum power of 20A, this charger significantly reduces the charging time of the large 75Ah battery of the Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO.

A 20A charge represents approximately 0.27C for a 75Ah battery. The theoretical time corresponding to the capacity/current ratio is only 3h45. In practice, allow approximately 3h45 to 4h15, taking into account the final charging phase.

The main advantage remains its fully adjustable power: you don't have to use 20A for every charge. You can select a lower intensity when you have more time.

⚠️ Beware of the original charging voltage

Some Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO may originally be equipped with a charger corresponding to a 21S configuration, with a final charge voltage that can reach 88.2V.

For a conventional lithium-ion battery configured in 20S and using cells with a maximum voltage of 4.20V per group, the full charge voltage corresponds to:

20 × 4.20V = 84V

A charger reaching 88.2V, on the other hand, corresponds to a 21S configuration at 4.20V per group. If the battery is actually designed to operate in 20S with a maximum voltage of 84V, repeated use of a voltage higher than that intended for the cells can lead to accelerated battery degradation, increased heating, and a reduction in its lifespan in the medium and long term. Actual cell overvoltage can also pose a safety risk.

Our charger is therefore configured with a maximum voltage of 84V for Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO batteries whose actual architecture requires this final charge voltage.

Important: the correct charging voltage always depends on the actual pack configuration, cell chemistry, and BMS parameters. The commercial designation "72V" or "74V" alone does not determine the maximum voltage of a battery.

💡 Why choose this Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO ultra-fast charger?

✔️ Adjustable current from 3A to 20A: precisely adapt charging speed.
✔️ Ultra-fast charging: approximately 3h45 to 4h15 at full power.
✔️ Daily charging: possibility to use 3A or 5A when you are not in a hurry.
✔️ Battery preservation: no need to systematically use maximum power.
✔️ OLED screen: real-time monitoring of key charging information.
✔️ Adjustment knob: simple and precise current selection.
✔️ Original Arctic Leopard connector: no modification of the motorcycle required.
✔️ Active cooling: ventilation and aluminum heatsink casing.
✔️ Voltage regulated at 84V: for compatible battery configuration.

🖥️ OLED Screen and 3A to 20A Adjustment

The charger features an OLED screen for monitoring key information during charging. Its rotary knob allows for easy current adjustment between 3A and 20A.

You can thus opt for slow charging at 3A or 5A, use 10A for fast charging, 15A for very fast charging, or select up to 20A when you need to get your motorcycle back as quickly as possible.

🔌 Original Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO Connector

The charger is directly equipped with the original Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO connector.

No adapter, connector replacement, or modification of the motorcycle's electrical harness is required. The charger is delivered ready to plug and play.

🌡️ Active Ventilation and High Dissipation Aluminum Casing

With a maximum power reaching approximately 1,680W at 20A, efficient thermal management is essential.

The charger combines an aluminum heatsink casing with active ventilation to effectively dissipate the heat generated by the power electronics during high-intensity charging sessions.

🔒 Safety and Compatibility

Is this 20A charger suitable for a 75Ah battery?
At its maximum power, a 20A charge represents approximately 0.27C for a 75Ah battery. Thanks to current adjustment, you can also select a lower intensity when ultra-fast charging is not necessary.

The charger integrates several electronic protections:

  • Overvoltage protection
  • Overcurrent protection
  • Overload protection
  • Short-circuit protection
  • Reverse polarity protection
  • Overheat protection

Tip: after intensive use of your Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO, allow the battery to return to normal temperature before performing a high-intensity charge, especially at 20A.

❓ FAQ – Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO 72V 20A Ultra-Fast Charger

Is this charger compatible with the Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO?

Yes. This charger is designed for the Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO equipped with its 72V / 74V 75Ah lithium-ion battery compatible with a final charge voltage of 84V.

How long does it take to charge the 75Ah battery at 20A?

At 20A, the theoretical time corresponding to the ratio between the 75Ah capacity and the charging current is 3h45. In practice, allow approximately 3h45 to 4h15 for a full charge depending on the discharge level, temperature, and the final charging phase managed by the BMS.

Can I reduce the power of the 20A charger?

Yes. The current is adjustable from 3A to 20A using the integrated knob. You can therefore perform a slow charge at 3A or 5A, a fast charge at 10A or 15A, or use the maximum power of 20A when you need to charge as quickly as possible.

Why is this charger configured at 84V?

A conventional 20S lithium-ion battery using cells charged to a maximum of 4.20V reaches a final charge voltage of 84V. The charger's voltage must always match the actual battery configuration and its BMS specifications.

Why do some original Arctic Leopard chargers reach 88.2V?

A voltage of 88.2V corresponds to a 21S architecture when each group reaches 4.20V. If a battery is actually designed for a maximum voltage of 84V, a higher voltage can increase the stress on the cells and accelerate their aging. It is therefore essential to respect the actual pack configuration and the BMS specifications.

Does the charger have the original Arctic Leopard connector?

Yes. The charger is directly equipped with the original Arctic Leopard EX-800 PRO connector to allow a direct connection to the motorcycle without an adapter or modification.

Does the charger have an active cooling system?

Yes. The charger features active ventilation combined with an aluminum heatsink casing to ensure good thermal management, especially when operating at 20A.
