❓ FAQ – Dualtron Sonic & Alien Chargers

👉 What charging voltage do the Dualtron Sonic and Alien require?

These scooters use 72V (20S lithium-ion) batteries, requiring an 84V output charger.

👉 What is the difference between a 5A and a 10A charger?

• 5A Fast: allows you to reduce charging time by half when coupled with your original charger also at 5A.
• 10A Ultra Fast: charges up to 2x faster, ideal for intensive use while remaining safe thanks to the LP16 connector designed for this current.

👉 Are the chargers ventilated?

Yes ✅, all our chargers are actively cooled . This reduces the risk of overheating, a common problem with non-ventilated original chargers.

👉 Isn't a 10A charger dangerous for the battery?

No ✅, the Dualtron Sonic and Alien batteries have a BMS and wiring compatible with fast charging up to 10A without any issues. Our chargers respect these limits and ensure safe and stable charging.

👉 What connectors do these models use?

The Dualtron Sonic and Dualtron Alien use the LP16 – 3-pin connector (standard Minimotors). If your charging port is different, we can adapt the connector upon request.
