Chargers for Ausom DT2 Pro 52V electric scooter
This collection gathers Source’IT chargers for the Ausom DT2 Pro: 2A standard, 4A fast, and 5A ultra-fast. Whether you are looking for a replacement charger or faster charging, compare the versions based on your scooter’s battery and the connector shown in the photos.
The Ausom DT2 Pro uses a 52V 23.4 Ah lithium-ion battery. Its high capacity is suitable for long rides but requires more charging time with a standard 2A current. The 4A and 5A versions allow you to recover range more quickly between trips.
Batteries and relevant configurations
- Ausom DT2 Pro: 52V 23.4 Ah (1216.8 Wh) lithium-ion battery.
The batteries in this selection are 52V class, in a 14S lithium-ion architecture. Their maximum charge voltage is 58.8V. The capacity in Ah specifically determines the time required for a full charge: a higher-capacity battery requires more time with the same charger.
Which charger should you choose for the Ausom DT2 Pro?
- 2A standard: suitable for standard charging, replacing your charger, or as an extra unit for another location. Plastic casing, 58.8V output, and Active Cooling.
- 4A fast: a higher current than the 2A to recover range more quickly on a daily basis. Plastic casing, 58.8V output, and Active Cooling.
- 5A ultra-fast: the highest current version in this selection, to shorten charging time compared to the 2A and 4A. Aluminum casing, 58.8V output, and Active Cooling.
- Ausom DT2 Pro 52V Standard Charger – 58.8V 2A
- Ausom DT2 Pro 52V Fast Charger – 58.8V 4A
- Ausom DT2 Pro 52V Ultra-fast Charger – 58.8V 5A
Estimated charging times by battery and power
Ausom DT2 Pro – 23.4 Ah
- 2A standard: ≈ 11.5 h
- 4A fast: ≈ 5.75 h
- 5A ultra-fast: ≈ 4.5 h
These durations are estimates for a 0 to 100% charge with a single charger, calculated by dividing the battery capacity in Ah by the charging current in A, then rounding down to the nearest quarter hour. The starting level, temperature, and battery condition will cause the actual time to vary.
Original connector and compatibility
The products in this collection use the original Ausom 3-pin red connector shown in their photos. The charging voltage and the connector must both match your scooter. A 52V battery or a visually similar plug alone are not enough to confirm the wiring.
Choose your version based on its exact model and original battery. The Ausom families do not all share the same voltage or connector: the brand page allows you to find the suitable selection.
Active cooling and charger casing
The chargers in this collection are equipped with active cooling that promotes efficient heat dissipation during long charging sessions. The casing type is detailed on each product page: this refers to the charger’s casing, which is distinct from the scooter’s battery casing.
The 2A and 4A versions have a plastic casing; the 5A has an aluminum casing. All are equipped with Active Cooling.
FAQ – Choosing an Ausom DT2 Pro charger
Why a 58.8V charger for a 52V battery?
The 52V value refers to the nominal voltage class of the battery. The 58.8V value is its maximum charge voltage in a 14S lithium-ion architecture. The product pages specify both values to make choosing easier.
Does the fast charger change the range?
The higher current shortens the charging time. It does not change the battery’s capacity in Ah or its range at full charge; the latter also depends on how the scooter is used.
Do all batteries in the range require the same amount of time?
No. The capacity and the chosen current determine the estimated time. Find your model and its capacity in the charging time list, then consult the page for the desired power.
Can the charger be used as a spare unit?
Yes, to keep one charger at home and another at a different location. Simultaneous charging with two chargers requires verifying the ports and the total current accepted by your configuration.
How do I check the plug before purchasing?
Compare your scooter’s port to the original Ausom 3-pin red connector visible on the product pages. If in doubt, our support team can verify your model based on photos and battery information.
